Urban Perspectives

Acrylic on canvas, 50 cm × 70 cm

Urban Perspectives is based on a building in Cardiff, reimagined through a process of deconstruction and redesign. The red façade is transformed into bold planes of color, while vertical windows edged in yellow and blue punctuate the surface with sharp rhythm. Toward the top, the structure fractures into repeating vertical cuts, pushing the architecture toward a futuristic vision.

The title reflects the deeper idea behind the work: in the rush of city life, we often focus on destinations and forget to look upward. From below, buildings reveal unexpected geometries — infinite lines, rhythms, and intersections that dissolve into the sky. By shifting perspective, the ordinary becomes extraordinary, and architecture transforms into a play of vision, invention, and possibility.
